Teaching Experience

Mineralogy

I have served as a teaching assistant for university-level mineralogy courses, among others. I built, organized, and ran labs; oversaw semester-long projects; and planned field trips.

Field Methods

In the spring of 2020, I served as a lecturer for an undergraduate-level geologic field methods course. I planned trips, created assignments, and organized a final project for both in-person and virtual teaching.

Future Faculty Teaching Institute

In fall of 2022, I completed a Future Faculty Teaching Institute course where I learned how to design course syllabi, run successful courses, and engage with students as an instructor.
