About Me

I am currently a second year PhD student at the University of Southern California Department of Earth Sciences. I received my B.S. in geology with a minor in planetary science from the University of Maryland and my M.S. in geological sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I grew up in the small town of Branchburg, NJ, where my appreciation for nature flourished while I collected rocks and picked flowers. I currently live in Los Angeles, California, with my partner, Jack; my four kitties, Josie, Petunia, Basil, and Lily; and my leopard gecko, Charlie.

When I'm not researching or working on art, I enjoy cooking, gardening, foraging, hiking, and volunteering in the community.
